About us

Japanese tradition to the world

We are striving to deliver not only INDEN products but also traditional Japanese goods overseas.
The owner herself is a Japanese traditional dancer that has been putting forth an effort to introduce Japanese traditional performing arts in the United States.

Her hope is that more people will be able to pick up wonderful Japanese traditions and high-quality items, and that many people will be able to feel Japan through their sights and senses.

Traditional products have a lot of history, and each craftsman carries a special legacy. Each product created by a craftsman contains the craftsman's thoughts and life experiences. That's why we believe that our products have a special power to make people who pick them up feel special.

We sincerely hope that you will find a treasured item for each person, and we will deliver it to you from Japan with all our heart.

About Inden products

All Inden products are handcrafted by Japanese artisans using traditional methods carried on for
over 400 years. The products are constructed with light, tough, and soft deerskin. Most amazingly and beautifully, they are overlaid by natural lacquer with an enduring texture and timeless beauty.

Since 1582, Inden has been a leading innovator in Japanese design. Inden began crafting armor decorations for the noble Samurai warriors. Using light-weight, flexible, and unique leather materials, Inden designs are recognized not only as armors, but other fashionable items as well. The people of Japan were inspired by the popular Samurai, and since that time the Inden fashion house has continued to grow.

Inden has been making high-end leather designs for over 400 years now. The high-quality deer leather and the natural sheen of wooden lacquer that is adorned by hand on the exterior of each item are essential to your own collection or for someone special. The lacquer technique gives the leather long-lasting protection and a unique design. Special hand-pressed patterns make every Inden product truly one-of-a-kind. Feel the quality and tradition of Japan refined since 1582, and enjoy its beauty wherever you go.
